Summary for September 2017: There were  53 maximum possible abortions. There were Two babies saved during the month. There was Onedrive away noted.

 A total of 468 babies lives have been saved since we started sidewalk counseling in October 2006.

Note that in 2006, there were approximately 175 abortions a month. We are saving babies just by being out there. The maximum number of abortions are now about ­­­­­75 a month. This month there were a maximum 53.abortions. Less than 1/3 of when we started J

Details of the sidewalk counseling are in the text. We need prayer warriors and sidewalk counselors from 9 to 11AM on every other Tuesday, 9 AM to 11AM on every Thursdays and 9:00AM to 11 AM on every other Saturday. Please come and join us.

We also need another “shift” to stay until the woman come out after the abortions are done so we can provide some help. We leave some literature on the cars, but some are parked in the back and some women are dropped off. Please see me at the abortuary or email me if you are interested in doing this. I know we are missing those women who have changed their minds after we have left; and, we are missing the opportunity to provide counseling to women after the abortion.

Main St. Abortion Mill: Thursday, October 5, 2017. One baby saved. Total of 467 Babies Saved!

Time: Started 8:30 AM. / Pro-lifers left around 11:30 AM

Time women entered the abortion facility 8:50 AM to 10:30 AM

Time: abortionist arrived: Abortionist, McLeod, arrived after11:30 AM

No. of abortion workers: 5 plus the manager. The workers arrived after 8:35 AM.

Drive Aways: One couple came out of their car across the street. Lucy talked to them as soon as possible. The woman was extremely upset and the man not at all. They walked up the street around the corner and down behind St. Mary’s church. Not seen again

Saves: One. Two women came out of the abortion clinic and one of the women told us she had changed her mind. She asked for help and we responded, however they were from Martinsburg and we did not have a lot of placed to refer her to in that area.

She said she was 6 weeks pregnant and Jim gave her a fetal model and a card to go with it plus a lot of written info on help in Hagerstown.  He also gave her his name and contact. Gail and others talked to them and offered her thanks, etc. Gail gave her a baby blanket.

Comments: A very sunny and beautiful day.

            Lucy, a friend of Gail, came for her second time. We did not realize before she really is a sidewalk counselor and was very successful giving out pamphlets to the women going into the clinic. She said she did sidewalk counseling in college.. We are very happy to have her with us.

Saves: One. There was one young couple who left with the woman in tears. They did not talk to us, but we feel it was a save.

            Nothing unusual today! The deathscorts were fairly quiet. Barbara did some counseling.

            We feel Dr. Tweet only does Chemical abortions. We need to gather some Chemical abortion flyers and hand out as they are leaving and/or leave on the cars. We also need some counselors to come later and to stay later.

Fewer women today, perhaps because of the Rosary Congress and week of Eucharistic Adoration currently at St. Mary this week, with Fr. Cibelli specifically praying for the closure of this abortion clinic.

Barbie from WV who used to come and pray with us stopped for few minutes with her beautiful 6-mo old son Isaac.  She said she had 4 previous miscarriages, and that is why she just couldn’t keep coming.

            Jim is on his way to Morgantown WV to have some cancer surgically removed. He will be out for a few weeks.

One man who accompanied his wife came outside and B and J spoke to him at length; he said he has 6 children who he loves very much and loved before they were born, but 7th child is not his and he wouldn’t try to persuade his wife to change her mind about the abortion.  Very sad!

Jim is out of the hospital recovering from his operation and doing well.

Comments:

Unusual day.  Pro-lifers arrived 8:45 am.  No Diane or workers.  4 deathscorts (newer ones) arrived about 9 am, but door locked.  Diane arrived about9:05 am, escorts went inside, then came back out in five minutes and all left.  Then at 10:25 am first worker showed up in old white truck, looks about 70.

Another light day, thank God. Rosary crusade and other prayers surely responsible

Gail talked for 40 min to 2 young women who came @ 9:30. Pregnant girl sent in after 10-15 min, friend stayed to listen. Both were very young. Looked high school age. The friend seemed quite accepting of Gail's message. However, when she went in after the pregnant one, both stayed in.

Crisp day, or should I say chilly, but not uncomfortable. Cold enough to point out to deathscorts they weren't even given hot cocoa while the ones getting paid were inside nice and warm!
